Right Thinking Verses Wrong Thinking

I believe we create our own luck, whether it's good or bad. Consciously, or unconsciously, we may have ourselves at some time or another, produced our current conditions, either in our bodily health or other circumstances.

Because not much happens by chance, most things, good or bad, comes into our lives as a result of the thoughts we engage in, or by what God ordains to get our attention.

It's easy to blame someone, or something outside of ourselves, and make excuses as to why we may be experiencing certain unpleasant situations. But, we must be mature enough to take full responsibility for our own lives and quit playing the part of the victim. It's liberating when you can say, "I got myself into this, and with God's help, I can get out." There is no power in acting like a victim.

There is no easy way out of trouble, but there is a simple way. Think rightly instead of wrongly, and conditions will begin to improve.

What is thinking rightly? It's what the bible says about you, your circumstances, and God. It is the truth. Thinking wrongly has to do with our emotions. Since emotions are inconsistent, they cannot be trusted. Unfortunately, this is where most people make major choices in life, during an emotional high or low. It's a recipe for disaster! A person should never make a decision based on emotion.

As long as we go on thinking wrongly about ourselves and our lives, the same sort of difficulties will continue to harass us. Every seed must inevitably bring forth after its own kind, and thought is the seed of destiny.

When we think rightly, by doing and saying what God's Word says about our situations, sooner or later, all ill health, poverty, loneliness, and inharmony must disappear. Proverbs 23:07 says, "As a man thinks, so is he."

John 10:10 says since Christ died, we may have life and have it to it's full, but also in this same Scripture, it says the devil comes only to steal, kill, and destroy.

Life is a battle. As long as there is a devil out there we must constantly be aware that he is always trying to influence our thinking in one way or another. He wants us to agree with him so he can control us. If you're speaking garbage out of your mouth, then the devil's got you right where he wants you. That's why we must speak God's Word in faith concerning every aspect of our lives. We need to agree with God!

Even though life is a battle, it's also a glorious adventure, full of choices. There used to be a bumper sticker that read, "God is my co-pilot." Later, someone created another one that read, "If God is your co-pilot, switch seats." No, it was right the first time. God has put you in the drivers seat. He said, "I set before you life and death, blessing and cursing, therefore, choose life" (Deut 30:19).

The Science of Getting Rich - The Right Business

You can become a success in any business. But when it comes to being in the right business, a person would do best in a business that they like. When you enjoy what you do it is a joy to do it. If you have already developed talents and abilities for a particular business, then it may be to you advantage to work that business as you look for new opportunities. Don't neglect where you are right now, there may be many un-tapped opportunities you have overlooked.

Many times we do not see opportunities that are right in front of us because our attitude is wrong. Ask formless intelligence to show you opportunities that are around you, right where you are today. You may find new and exciting ventures have been there all along!

It may take someone looking in from the outside to point out new opportunities to you. A mentor or a coach or even a trusted friend can often point out things you overlook. What you want might be easily within your reach, but you look right past it.

Another tool I have used to see things I would otherwise not see is photos. Take a series of pictures where you work or spend most of your time. Do you see things in those still photos that you don't see while you are walking through? Study them for a while, a new opportunity, you could not see before, just might pop out at you.

Have you ever thought about what things you do the best and/or love to do the most? Is there a way to use your talents and abilities in your current position? Or a way to grow into another line of work that you can focus on doing what you love?

Wallace Wattles also says: " If you are ever to begin to make ready for the reception of what you want, you must begin now."

So what if you do not have the training or education to have the business you would love? Take action now and "begin to make ready for the reception of what you want". Get the training you need, learn what you need to know, start making connections with people who are doing what you want to do.

You can not sit back and think it into being. You must take steps toward what you desire - you must take action.

From Wattles teaching you can see that even if you are not in the perfect business now, there are ways to get to your perfect business. You may have talents and abilities that you are not using that could get you promoted to a better position. There may be overlooked opportunities right where you are. Or you may need to learn new skills to get into a business you would love. Each action you take brings you closer to your "right business".

Setting Your Intentions: The Right Money Attitude

For those of you who read my articles regularly, you know that I provide information to help network marketers become more successful in their business. While I have still written this article with network marketers in mind, it is a topic that anyone in any industry can benefit from by reading it.

In your endeavors to become a prosperous MLM marketer (or successful in any career), an important component of your success is your mindset, especially when it comes to your attitudes about money.

This is a much more important and powerful concept than most people realize. What's even more important to know (but most people don't) is we grow up with certain beliefs about money, and this shapes our attitudes toward money.

I'm going to give you a brief exercise to perform. I highly advise that you take a few minutes and write down on a sheet of paper every thought or attitude you've ever had about money, or perhaps a money attitude that someone told you, maybe even relentlessly repeated it until you too believed that their attitude toward money was your very own money attitude.

Here are a few examples:

· Money doesn't grow on trees.

· Money is evil.

· Money does bad things to people.

· Money changes a person.

· Money changes everything.

· Money doesn't buy happiness.

· Rich people have no morals.

I could go on, but for the sake of space and time, I'll stop there. Those are some pretty powerful money attitudes, and not in a good way.

This is an extremely important topic, and I hope you realize that, because if you have any of these limiting beliefs about money, or any other negative money attitudes, this is going to severely limit you in your ability to achieve financial success and abundance.

Have you ever heard of a man by the name of T. Harv Ecker? He wrote a book entitled "Secrets of the Millionaire Mind." I will tell you in brief that this is not a book that contains solid financial advice. What it IS about is changing your psychological approach to money, success, and happiness.

I happened upon Ecker's work purely by accident (Or was it an accident? We manifest that which we think about). I wound up taking one of his Millionaire Mindset Intensive (MMI) seminars. I can tell you this: The Denise who walked into that room on the first day of the seminar was a very different Denise who emerged from that room on the last day of the seminar. This seminar opened up my eyes and made me see where all my attitudes about money came from. WOW, was that an eye-opener. It also provided me with a blueprint of how to change my attitude toward money for the better, as well as a blueprint for being a better money manager. There were also plenty of other opportunities presented to learn much more about how to become financially abundant. The most important thing I learned, though, was my financial success depended on changing my money attitudes. It all started with me, and how I thought about money.

This is the case for you, too. Seriously give thought to the money attitudes that you have inside you. Think about from where or from whom you learned them. Then, if they are not very positive, I strongly suggest you work on changing your money attitudes for the better. I've got great news for you - MONEY IS NOT EVIL. You receive money in exchange for a valuable service or product that your client wants/needs. What is wrong with getting paid for what you do or offer? Absolutely nothing.

There are many programs that can help you change your money attitudes from a poverty mindset to a millionaire mindset. To make it easy to get started, check out T. Harv Ecker's programs. Search the internet for others like it, there are plenty to choose from.

As I said before, this topic is important for anyone in any industry, whether working for another or if you are an entrepreneur. However, speaking specifically to my network marketing audience, I want to say this: it is important that you let go of any negative beliefs you have about network marketing and MLM in general, as well as any limiting attitudes about making money from it. This process of letting those beliefs go is absolutely essential to your success.
