The Best Way To Be Healthy Is The Simplest Way

The world has gone even crazier than I thought it ever would, and there is still more to come.

Humans over-breed.

Parents over-indulge their children.

Teenagers and adults over-use drugs and alcohol.

Respected members of society over-promise religion and prayer.

Companies over-process food, and over-sweeten drinks.

Employers and Governments over-sell our careers.

Strangers over-tell their story.

An alarming number of people over-eat.

Too many of us over buy products we do not need (or even use).

Everybody over-watches TV that offers nothing but mindless garbage.

Rather than accepting that we do not need most of what we have, we seem to gather, garner and gorge ourselves on the unnecessary.

Rather than looking for ways to make the most of our lives with less - humans have become gluttons for more and more stuff that simply makes humans more and more inept, unhealthy, and incapable.

From gadgets that open and close garage doors, park and reverse our cars for us, enable us to switch channels by moving our thumb, allow us to believe that we can get a 6-pack by lying down with an electronic belt around our waist.

To gadgets that chop food in the blink of an eye, 'cook' food in 60 seconds, and process food in the most unhealthy way possible.

We are filling our lives with fake so we can do less and become more and more dependent on the vapid.

It is better to drink water and thereby consume less sugar and poison. It is better to eat less, yet consume more nutrition.

It is better to appreciate more and have less. It is better to listen more and talk less. It is better to read more and watch less. It is better to love more and worry less.

It is better to have less and understand more. It is better to use less and have more.

The less things we have the more time we have to do the things we love.

It is time to stop the consumption. It is time to think about the outcome.

It is time to be honest with ourselves and to confront the reality - and the reality is that we are making the human race weak and feeble.

We are creating nothing but emptiness - whether it be the food we eat, the religion we follow, the promises we make.

There are better choices out there - but we have to choose them - otherwise it is OVER & OUT for us and our offspring.
